Junlan Verify ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Hangzhou Junlan Compliance Technology Co., Ltd., a company registered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. This policy explains what personal data we collect through verify.junlan.tax, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, company name, country
- The product categories you source and the service tier you are interested in
- Any details you choose to write in the free-text field about your counterparty
Information collected automatically
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
We do not knowingly collect special category data (e.g. health, biometric, political or religious data), and we do not process payment card data on this website.
2. Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver the requested checklist or proposal (legal basis: your consent, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract)
- To send occasional, relevant service updates where you have opted in (consent)
- To keep the site secure and diagnose faults (legitimate interests)
3. Confidentiality of your enquiry
Treating your enquiry as confidential is part of the service. We do not disclose your identity, your company, or the subject of your verification to any third party — including the supplier under review — without your explicit prior consent.
4. Who we share data with
- Our own staff and contracted field auditors, on a need-to-know basis
- Licensed notary offices in China, only where you have requested notarized verification
- Service providers who host our website and email, under data processing agreements
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
We are established in China and our servers may be located there. If you are in the EEA or the UK, your data will be transferred outside your home jurisdiction. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and contractual safeguards — to protect it.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from your last contact, unless a client engagement requires a longer retention period or the law requires otherwise. You may ask us to delete your data earlier (see section 8).
7. Security
We use HTTPS, restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis, and review our safeguards periodically. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@junlan.tax. We respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for basic operation may be set. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out before doing so.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
